energy Beta band
Afternoon Energy Recharge
18 Hz beat · 528 Hz carrier · 3 phases · 12 min · beginner
Twelve minutes and the fastest beat in the catalogue. The shortest of the three beta programmes, and the sharpest.
The beat and carrier in the heading are the main phase — the part of the session it was built around. They are not what plays for the whole length. Every programme here opens in the alpha band, wherever it is going afterwards, and most come back up before they finish. The full phase plan is on this page, and it is the honest picture of what you would actually hear.
Hear it
Thirty seconds rendered at the parameters of the phase named above — not an excerpt cut from a finished file, because sessions are built to order and yours does not exist yet. The figures the player draws are computed from the audio or from plate mathematics; none of them is a measurement of your hearing.
What this actually is
Eighteen hertz is the quickest beat we publish. It is unmistakably a flutter rather than a swell, and some people find it too busy — if the beta band is new to you, the fifteen-minute morning session at fourteen hertz is the gentler introduction.
Beta runs from thirteen to thirty hertz. The beat is fast enough to be heard as a distinct flutter rather than a swell, and every beta programme sits inside the three-to-sixty-hertz band that matters for photosensitivity — which is why the visual layer, if you add one, never flashes at the beat.
The full phase plan
Three phases across twelve minutes: ten hertz, eighteen for the six-minute middle, then fourteen to finish. It comes down at the end rather than holding its fastest rate, which is the difference between this and the morning session.

Where the 528 Hz carrier comes from
Solfeggio. Sung as MI in the tradition, and by a distance the most marketed tone in the whole category.
The claims attached to this frequency are the strongest in the Solfeggio set and the least supported. It is a pleasant carrier and it is a cultural artefact. It is not a treatment, and nothing here suggests it is.
The carrier is the pitch you actually hear. The binaural difference — the part that makes this a structured session rather than a tone — lives between the two channels and is set by the beat, not by the carrier. Choosing one carrier over another is a tonal choice, the way picking a key is a tonal choice. It is not a functional one.
What this does not claim
Energy and recharge name the slot in the day this was built for. Neither is a claim about your body. It is not a substitute for rest, food, or a break away from a screen.
Who it is for
The mid-afternoon dip, if you have twelve minutes. Try the morning session first if you have not used a beta programme before.
Nothing here is for sale yet. These are the starting points a session can be built from, published so you can see the whole range before anything is priced.
